Semester Fees for Dance Classes
Group Lessons/Classes/Workshops
Registration:

$25 registration fee per family

$20 reinstatement for lapsed students (out of Relevé classes for more than a year)
Tuition:
- We have 3 semesters throughout the year: Summer, Fall, and Spring.
- Tuition Fees cover the entire semester (they are no longer priced "per-month")
- 2011 Summer Dates: July 11 - September 2
- 2011-2012 Fall Semester Dates: September 6 - January 28
- 2012 Spring Semester Dates: January 30 - June 17 (recital June 15-17, 2012)
- There are no credits, refunds, or extensions for holidays or missed classes. We do not prorate if you are absent or away on vacation, or for regular studio closures. (Summer session will have a different price schedule.)
- Monthly tuition is due the 1st week of each month.
- There is a $25.00 late fee for any tuition received after the 10th of each month.
- A fee of $25.00 will be assessed for checks returned unpaid by the bank.
- Tuition fees are non-transferable.
Payment Options:
- Sign up for AutoPay and 10 monthly payments will be charged on the 6th of each month (Sept. through June).
- Automatic Payments may be deducted from your Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover) or through Electronic Funds Transfer from your checking or savings account.
- If you do not pay through Auto-Pay (CC or EFT), you must pay each semester in 1 or 2 installments by check, cash or credit card.

Changing Classes:
- All classes in which you have registered will be included on your invoice.
- You must fill out an ADD/DROP form to change your registration.
- Simply not attending a class does not excuse you from paying for it.
- If you want to change classes, please notify the front desk via the ADD/DROP form by the 20th of the month prior to the change taking place.
Excused Absenses:
- We request that you give us 24 hours notice for absences. If we have not heard about an absence at least 2 hours before the class – that absence will not be considered “excused” and will not be eligible for a “make-up”.
- No refunds will be given for missed classes.
- Excused absences may be made up in ANOTHER class within 30 days of the missed class.
- Students may not use their regular class for a makeup class.
- Please contact the front desk to schedule your makeup class. (You must have a "make-up" or "drop-in" pass to enter a class in which you are not already registered. Passes are available at the front desk.)
- Unused classes do not carry over into the next month.
- Limit of 8 make-ups per month.
- You must be currently registered in classes to use your make-ups.
Session/Semester Fees for Dance Classes (for all classes beginning after July 1, 2011):
- Semester fees must be paid by AutoPay, or 1-2 installments.
- Single class cards also available (3, 5, 8, or 10 classes)
- 10% discount for siblings enrolled in dance classes. (Discount applies to 2nd and additional siblings taking fewest number of classes. Does not apply for private lessons, acting classes, musical theatre, or summer camps.)

Trial Class for NEW students under age 11
- A one-time $10 trial class is available for students (ages 16 months - 10 years) for their FIRST class
- Limit one trial class per student
- If you join the class after the first trial, $10 will be deducted from your semester tuition.
- Students age 11 and up may have ONE free audit to watch a class in sessio
Single Class Cards / Drop Ins
- Please note: We do not encourage drop-ins, because we are building technique and choreography each week, working towards our June recital. However, if a teacher has agreed to “drop-in” students, we can accommodate as needed. During the fall and spring semester, drop-in students are not eligible to be in the recital.
- 3 class card = $60
- 5 class card = $100
- 8 class card = $140
- 10 class card = $160
30-Minute "Catch-up" Lessons: $30.00
- At the discretion of the studio director if a student has an excused absence in 2 regularly scheduled classes in a row or is having difficulty learning choreography, make-up lessons may be scheduled within one month of absence. (Absences without 24-hour notice may not be excused.)
Additional Expenses:
- Costumes for the dance recital (required) - Classes will perform in a recital in June. Costumes will range from $40-80 per number. Of course, we will do our best to stay on the lower end of this price range. A non-refundable deposit for costumes is due the first week of December, and total payment is due the first week of February, in order for us to receive them in time for our June recital. Tights, shoes and standard tank leotard are not included.
- Picture Day- Everyone will have photos taken approximately one month prior to the recital. Our photographer has great prices (but purchase is optional)!
- Recital Tickets- Tickets range from $15-$30 per person. Assigned seating may be purchased online at www.relevestudios.com/tickets. Please note: The studio does not make any money from the recital. Money from the ticket sales will pay for our performance venue, technical crew, parking, publicity, and other expenses tied up in putting together a large and wonderful show.
Private Music Lesson Payment Policies:
- Beginning January 2011, clients will pay the music instructor directly.
- First lesson may be taken at the "recurring rate"
- All other lessons must be paid in advance on a monthly basis. (payment is made to the teacher on the last lesson of the month for the upcoming month)
- Drop-In Lessons will have a surcharge of $10-20 (depending on the length of the lesson)
- Lessons occuring every other week will have a surcharge of $5-15 (depending on the length of the lesson)
- Students can be eligible for a "make-up" lesson only if they have notified the teacher of their cancellation more than 48 hours in advance of their scheduled lesson.
- Make-ups are available once a month. One make-up is allowed per quarter.
- There are no refunds.

Fitness Classes: Bootcamp
- $12 for each class or
- $100 for 10-class-pass (punch card). Pass must be used within 3 months from purchase date
